Atlanta Chamber Players Perform at Falany October 17

The Atlanta Chamber Players, a mixed ensemble of strings, winds and piano, will perform at the Falany Performing Arts Center on October 17 at 7:30 p.m.
For more than 40 years, the ensemble has performed critically acclaimed concerts throughout the United States, Europe and Mexico and has reached many thousands worldwide through radio broadcasts.  Many of the players perform with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and some have traveled the world as touring artists.

“I’m so excited to have the Atlanta Chamber Players perform at the Falany,” said Jessica Akers, Executive Director of the Falany Performing Arts Center. “I hope to bring them back annually – they are just that talented.  To have such a refined group here is just magnificent. ”

The program at Falany features Johannes Brahms’ Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano in E-flat major, Op. 40 and Ernst von Dohnanyi’s Sextet in C major, Op. 37.

Tickets are $25 to $30 for adults, $20 to $25 for seniors and $10 for children (12 and younger). Tickets can be purchased at Reinhardt.edu/Falany or by calling the box office at 770-720-9167.
