CANTON, GA — The Mill on Etowah is excited to announce its newest restaurant tenant, Bully Run, a fresh smash-burger concept from the beloved owners of POPS Canton, Andy and Amber Palermo. Set to open in early 2026 in the former Community Burger space, Bully Run will bring a fun, approachable, family-friendly dining experience to Downtown Canton’s historic mixed-use district.

Known for their exceptional hospitality and deep commitment to the Canton community, the Palermos are expanding their culinary footprint with a menu centered around high-quality comfort favorites. Bully Run Burgers will serve smash burgers, grilled cheese dogs, gourmet chicken strips, and other elevated classics designed to appeal to guests of all ages. True to the spirit of historic Mill, the restaurant will offer a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere- complete with outdoor seating that invites guests and their four-legged companion to enjoy the space together.

“Our family has been so blessed with the support from our friends and neighbors in Canton and beyond,” said operator Andy Palermo. “We are excited to announce the opening of a brand new smash-burger concept at The Mill on Etowah! We look forward to sharing this family friendly, neighborhood, dog-friendly concept with all of you who have grown to be such an amazing part of our lives.”

Andy and Amber bring more than 30 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry. Andy Palermo previously served as Vice President of Operations for Rocket Farm Restaurants in Atlanta, where he specialized in guest service and new restaurant openings.

The Mill on Etowah is a 250,000 SF historic mixed-use development in the heart of Downtown Canton on the Etowah River. The property operated as a cotton mill from 1901 until the 1980’s. The developers purchased the property in 2018 and have since created a vibrant hub for dining, retail, entertainment, and community gatherings. The addition of Bully Run Burgers marks another exciting chapter for the property and reinforces its mission to bring best-in-class local operators to the heart of Canton.
