CANTON, GA (May 1, 2025) – The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Robbie Underwood, Executive Minister with Ebenezer Methodist Church, has been named the Chairman’s Council Volunteer of the Quarter for second quarter for 2025. He was honored during the Chamber’s May Good Morning Cherokee networking event.
The Chairman’s Council is a group of key community volunteers who offer their time to help cultivate successful relationships with business owners across Cherokee County. Members are accepted by invitation only from the Chamber’s Board Chair. The Chairman’s Council members are invited to attend Ribbon Cuttings & Ground Breakings, Coffee & Connections…For New Members, and special invitation Chamber meetings that aren’t open to the general membership.
Robbie says of his time as a member of the Chairman’s Council, “Serving on the Chairman’s Council has been a great way to meet new people, get involved in the community, and help local businesses thrive.”
In determining the Volunteer of the Quarter, attendance at Chamber events is evaluated for all members of the Chairman’s Council. “Robbie Underwood is another great example of why our Chamber is the best around. Robbie works hard at his day job to make a difference in the community yet finds time each week to engage with Chamber members and celebrate ribbon cuttings. I am blessed to call him a friend, and excited to name him the Volunteer of the Quarter”, said Neil Blackman, Principal, Corblu Ecology Group, LLC, and 2025 Chamber Board Chair. The mission of the Cherokee County Chamber, a Georgia Certified Chamber of Commerce, is to promote business to expand the economy and enrich the community.
