CANTON, GA (May 7, 2026) – The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Tyler Gray, Chief Operations Officer with CNR Technologies, has been named the Chairman’s Council Volunteer of the Quarter for second quarter for 2026. He was honored during the Chamber’s May Good Morning Cherokee networking event.
The Chairman’s Council is a group of key community volunteers who offer their time to help cultivate successful relationships with business owners across Cherokee County. Members are accepted by invitation only from the Chamber’s Board Chair. The Chairman’s Council members are invited to attend Ribbon Cuttings & Ground Breakings, Coffee & Connections…For New Members, and special invitation Chamber meetings that aren’t open to the general membership.
Tyler says of his time as a member of the Chairman’s Council, “Seeing how much the community is developing and what it takes for everyone to contribute to Cherokee’s success has been an eye-opening experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity and grateful to the leaders around me.”
In determining the Volunteer of the Quarter, attendance at Chamber events is evaluated for all members of the Chairman’s Council. “Tyler is another great example of the dedication of our group of volunteers we’re lucky to have representing the Chamber in our business community.”, said Debra Williams, Office Leader/Senior Vice President, Synovus, and 2026 Chamber Board Chair.
