The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is hosting virtual leadership programs on Wednesday, October 14th and Wednesday, October 28th with tickets available to both Chamber members and the public. The Chamber’s ‘Leadership Lessons’, presented by Reinhardt University, will be held online via a webinar platform.

“The Leadership Lessons programs will feature four speakers who will share thought provoking information to be used both on the job and in life,” remarked Chamber Chairman David Simmons, Vice President of Facilities at Chattahoochee Technical College. Speakers will include Cathy Cox, Dean and Professor of Law at Mercer University; Tony Daniel, Associate Professor at Reinhardt University; Keith Parker, President & CEO at Goodwill of North Georgia and Amanda Wilbanks, Founder & CEO of Southern Baked Pie Company.

“The Chamber is excited to partner with Reinhardt University on this impactful event that provides opportunities for seasoned leaders to refocus while also encouraging emerging leaders to better grasp their leadership potential.  Continuous development of Cherokee County’s array of leaders – business, government, civic, cultural, faith based, etc. – is vital as our community continues to remain resilient,” shared Chamber President & CEO Pam Carnes.

Attendees may choose to register for both or just one of the ‘Leadership Lessons’ programs.  Each session will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 11:30 AM. The cost is $60 for Chamber members who register for both sessions and $40 for Chamber Members who register for one session. Future Members may attend both sessions for $80 or one session for $60. Additional sponsors who are making this event possible in addition to Reinhardt University are session sponsors Georgia Power Company and Kaiser Permanente. Event details, along with speaker bio information and registration, are available online at or by calling the Chamber office at 770-345-0400.
