CANTON, GA — The Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED) is proud to announce that Commercial Bank & Business Equipment (CBBE), a premier provider of architectural millwork, will expand its operations in Cherokee County with the construction of a state-of-the-art headquarters in the newly developed Canton Corporate Park. The project represents $25 million in capital investment and will create 70 new jobs.

The new headquarters will be located on the first developed tract of Canton Corporate Park, marking a milestone not only for the company but for the community’s future growth. The 50-acre park, designed to attract high-quality employers, still features two additional sites currently being marketed by COED – offering opportunities for innovative, growth-oriented companies that align with Cherokee’s needs.

“This announcement is a major milestone for Cherokee. CBBE’s decision to continue to grow here speaks volumes about the strength of our community, our workforce, and the partnership we’ve built over the years,” said Marshall Day, Chairman of the Cherokee Office of Economic Development. “We are deeply grateful for their continued confidence in Cherokee and honored to support their next chapter.”

CBBE, founded in 1985, specializes in quality architectural millwork for financial institutions, corporate interiors, healthcare, education, hospitality and places of worship. They provide master craftsmanship, cutting edge fabrication, engineering & design, custom upholstery and more – delivering premium desks, tables, benches, banquettes, casework, and custom pieces. Currently, CBBE employs 85 at their current 50,000 square-foot facility in Canton. The expansion will create 70 new jobs and include a 130,000 square-foot headquarters facility, supporting both current operations and future expansion plans.

“We’re excited to build our new headquarters here in Cherokee County. This investment will allow us to better serve our customers, support our growing team, and deepen our roots in a community that has supported our success, and that we call home,” said Harold Turner, President of CBBE. “We particularly appreciate the support of the Cherokee Office of Economic Development and the City of Canton in helping us get to this momentous day.”

“CBBE’s expansion is a powerful affirmation of Canton’s Roadmap for Success and our commitment to leading and advancing regional economic success. This investment brings high-quality jobs, skilled talent, and long-term opportunity to our community, and it underscores why the City of Canton continues to
be a place where innovative companies choose to grow and to call home,” said City of Canton Mayor, Bill Grant.

The selection of Canton Corporate Park as the home for this new headquarters also underscores the park’s strategic strengths, including its proximity to I-575 & 75 and its great access to restaurants, retail and other amenities. With two additional sites still available, the park is positioned to continue attracting investment that strengthens the local economy.
