CANTON, GA (February 26, 2025) – Looking for a fun and delicious way to explore Cherokee County this spring? Destination Cherokee GA, the tourism arm of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, is teaming up with 19 local businesses to launch an exciting Mouthwatering March Tastings Tour. Food lovers and adventure seekers alike can sip, savor, and sample their way across the county—traveling at their own pace and curating their own flavorful journey.
Coffee. Tea. Eateries. Beer. Wine. Ice Cream. Donuts and more! Join us in experiencing a variety of offerings around our county. In Ball Ground, The Grande Event Tea Bar offers vintage-inspired tea experience with gourmet teas, delicious treats, and a charming atmosphere, while Dot’s Fine Wine & Craft offers wine-tastings, charcuterie, and craft beer. You can enjoy breakfast or lunch at the newest restaurant in Ball Ground, Sunrise on Main, wander into Ball Ground Tavern for entrees and specially crafted drinks, or over to the unique Ball Ground Burger Bus for tasty burgers. Eight businesses in Canton are participating including The Local Graze with tasty handcrafted charcuterie boards, grazing boxes or an indulgent treat, and Laurel Canyon Brewing a neighborhood craft brewery is just right for hanging out with friends. Stop by The Holler, a hotspot in the heart of downtown Canton for trivia, live music, a new bourbon bar area, along with indoor/outdoor dining. Two additional Canton options at The Mill on Etowah are Sweety’s Cafe that provides a savory, sweet, or soothing selection of sandwiches, ice cream, with an afternoon tea experience, and Giggle Monster Craft Donuts, specialty donuts at their finest, including a second location near Bridgemill! Three customer favorite restaurants across Canton are participating, B&B Tavern Sixes and B&B Free Home, serve up mouthwatering meals, and the new downtown Canton location B&B Social adds an entertainment mix to the offerings. In the Holly Springs area, choose the farm-to-cup Alma Coffee for a ethically sourced, high-quality coffee. When visiting Woodstock, stop at Deep Roots Wine to enjoy a cozy, modern tasting experience featuring Napa wines. If you’re more in the mood for a craft beer, then Daily Draft serves up dinner, drinks, and sports for your enjoyment, and Keegan’s Public House tailors their Irish heritage into a welcoming experience for food and drink. Rally Point Grille has delightful American fare with a USA-Veteran inspired décor. With so many options, don’t just choose one, get the family involved and make an adventure of it!
In addition to experiencing all that our county has to offer, you can also earn prizes as you go! You’ll receive a link after registering for the tour that will offer a coupon for each business in the month of March.
