Marks the 9th location in Georgia, provides drive-up option to donate gently used items
Woodstock, Georgia — Nov. 20, 2025— GreenDrop® is proud to announce the opening of its newest donation center in Woodstock, GA, on Nov. 20. The site will provide Georgia residents with a convenient location to donate gently used items which are collected on behalf of the company’s nonprofit partner, the American Red Cross. This marks GreenDrop’s 9th location in Georgia, highlighting the company’s continued growth and commitment to expanding its mission-driven, eco-friendly donation model across the state.
Located at 6443 Bells Ferry Road next to Animal Atlanta Pet store, the new Woodstock donation center offers a highly accessible drop-off point for local residents. The site will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to accept lightly used clothing, shoes, blankets, kitchenware, and housewares. These donations provide critical funding for the American Red Cross and its lifesaving work.
“Funds received through the GreenDrop partnership are applied where the need is greatest, whether that’s disaster relief, lifesaving blood, critical services for military families and veterans, training like CPR and water safety or international aid,” said Anne McKeough, Chief Development Officer of the American Red Cross. “The partnership with GreenDrop helps us carry out our lifesaving mission every day.”
“We’re excited to expand our services to Woodstock, offering residents a simple and sustainable way to support the American Red Cross,” said Oscar Ortiz, Regional Manager of GreenDrop. “We’re eager to become part of the Woodstock community with this new location.”
GreenDrop makes it easy to donate clothing and household items and housewares at its Woodstock location. Donors conveniently drive up to the donation center where they are greeted by a GreenDrop attendant who collects the items on behalf of the American Red Cross. Donors in return receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Each year, items donated through the GreenDrop program nationwide help generate nearly $1 million to support the Red Cross mission.
Items donated are not distributed to or by the Red Cross, but sold in bulk to raise funds for its charitable purposes.
