The Never Alone Community Food Pantry is hosting an upcoming event, the Shared Blessings Gala celebrating their 20thyear anniversary, which will take place on April 16, 2026 at the Cherokee County Conference Center at the Bluffs, in Canton, Georgia. This event aims to raise funds for Never Alone to continue to serve and expand their reach to our neighbors, seniors, children, veterans and families who suffer from food insecurity in our community.
We believe that a partnership with Never Alone would greatly enhance the experience for attendees while providing significant visibility and promotional opportunities for your brand. The event will attract Cherokee county business and community leaders among the expected 200+ participants.
Never Alone, an affiliate of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, serves families across Cherokee, Pickens, Bartow, and Cobb counties from their home base in Woodstock, Georgia. Every single dollar donated provides $8 worth of food—stretching your generosity to reach even more hungry neighbors.
Over the past year, they’ve expanded their impact—growing from serving 20 guests every 60 days to now serving 32 guests every 30 days. Yet even with these advances, they are meeting only about 40% of the total need in our community.
The faces of hunger in our area are diverse and deeply human—grandparents raising grandchildren, veterans finding their footing, and working families struggling to make ends meet. One in ten children in Cherokee County and one in four older adults are food insecure. Rising costs for housing, healthcare, and transportation are forcing many to make impossible choices—whether to pay bills or put food on the table.
At Never Alone, the mission is simple yet vital: to ensure no one has to go without food. They dedicate one day each week to serving our veterans and connecting every family they serve with local partner agencies to help them find stability, dignity, and hope.
