Woodstock, GA—The Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic is returning to Woodstock in October! Hosted by the Cherokee County Health Department, the clinic will take place on Tuesday, October 1st, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Woodstock Health Center, 7545 North Main Street, Suite 100, Woodstock, GA 30188.

This clinic, open to residents ages 18 and older, allows individuals to conveniently receive their flu shot from the comfort of their vehicles.

The flu shot is available at no cost under most health coverage plans. For those paying out of pocket, the regular flu vaccine costs $25, while the high-dose flu vaccine for individuals 65 and older is priced at $65. Various payment methods and most healthcare plans will be accepted.

This year’s flu vaccine is trivalent, offering protection against two A influenza viruses and one B influenza virus that are currently circulating most prevalently. The high-dose vaccine for older adults provides four times the protective antigen as people age.
