The Going Green recognition program is designed with the intention of encouraging the community to implement green practices that conserve community resources while helping businesses thrive. Eligible Chamber Member businesses may apply for the 2020 Green Business of the Year Award throughout the month of December 2019. Simply complete the online Going Green Recognition Form below.

Thank You 2019 Going Green Chamber Member Partners:



Clear, green and brown glass will be accepted at the Cherokee County Recycling Center, 470 Blalock Road, Canton. Hours of operation are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The center is closed Sunday and Monday.

Glass also will be accepted at the Hobgood Park Recycling Center, 6688 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock. The center is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven day a week.

Glass recycling is accepted at the City of Canton Collection Site at 2525 Ridge Road. This facility is open Friday and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekly and closed on holidays.
