Woodstock, GA – The Woodstock Summer Concert Series reaches its spectacular conclusion this Saturday, September 13, with a star-studded performance by Interstellar Echoes, the Southeast’s premier Pink Floyd tribute band. The free, family-friendly event will take place at the Northside Hospital–Cherokee Amphitheater from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
This season, sponsored by Carriage Kia of Woodstock, delivered a stellar mix of artists and genres, from chart-topping tributes to beloved Grammy-nominated performers. The season opened on May 10 with Let’s Sing Taylor, a Taylor Swift tribute. Atlanta’s 99X partnered with Woodstock Summer Concert Series on June 14 for FREE DAY OUT with the Gin Blossoms and special guest Josh Joplin Group. A standout moment this summer came on July 12, when Josh Turner’s concert shattered attendance records, drawing 16,235 fans, the largest crowd ever recorded at the amphitheater, surpassing the previous high of 15,900 from a 2018 38 Special show. On August 9, 10,000 Maniacs, acclaimed alternative rock band, performed before an energetic audience.
As the 5th and final concert of the season, Interstellar Echoes promises a captivating and immersive experience. Known for their precise replication of Pink Floyd’s sonic landscapes and visual staging, including a mesmerizing laser light show, the band aims to deliver both iconic hits and deep cuts in a performance tailored to satisfy even the most fervent fans.
The Woodstock Summer Concert Series is produced by Woodstock Parks and Recreation in partnership with the City of Woodstock, featuring a diverse lineup that spans genres and decades. All concerts are free to attend, with free shuttle service from 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., on-site food vendors, and a brand-new parking deck across from the amphitheater for convenient access.
“This final concert promises to be a fitting finale, an unforgettable tribute to one of rock’n’roll’s most legendary bands,” according to Mayor Michael Caldwell. “Whether you’re a lifelong Floyd fan or looking for a nostalgic summer night under the stars, we invite you to bring chairs, arrive early, and soak in the magic.”
