The Cherokee Chamber has been a crucial element of my marketing plan since I opened for business in 2010. Many of the relationships I have formed through Chamber events have grown to become personal friends aside from having a benefit on my business. Cherokee County has always had a friendly atmosphere, but its size can sometimes feel overwhelming to people who have not grown up in the area. Through the Chamber’s efforts, everyone in the business community feels like a local whether you have been here for 5 minutes or 50 years.
The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is, and has always been, a very important factor in our community. By serving as the “voice of business” in our community and state, the Chamber is oftentimes the liaison and the “muscle” required to represent our interests, while we are frequently too busy “running our business” to take time to “stand up for our business”.
The Chamber also serves as an incredible networking tool and offers so many helpful workshops. We as business owners need to be reminded to step out of the daily storm and take a more introspective view on our businesses and skills. The Chamber offers so many opportunities to better ourselves as business men and women and I am very appreciative of the role the Chamber plays in that lifelong education process.
Joining the Chamber has connected us with the Cherokee County community in significant ways through interacting with leaders from government, business, education, and nonprofits at the monthly breakfasts, having informal conversations After-Hours events and networking lunches, and learning from impactful speakers at events which highlight issues affecting our area. The Chamber has become a valued partner in helping us grow our roots deeper in the place in which we live and work.
ASC Group is a very proud member of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce and recommend it highly to anyone who wants to plant deep and grow tall in this “backyard.”
Involvement with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce has proven extremely valuable to our business. In a professional community such as ours, word of mouth and peer validation is very important. The Chamber has been the vehicle for these opportunities. No other local organization has as many persons of interest who can share in our successes. It is because of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce that we have been able to thrive.
The Chamber brings about a valuable opportunity for the growing businesses in the community. Attending meetings and events allows us to network with people within the community and build relationships, our business is dependent on people and businesses in the community, all being prospective customers. The Chamber encourages shopping local, keeping county dollars in the county and this is an important aspect, to help each of us succeed. The Chamber also provides opportunities for its members to attend expos or workshops which give us additional tools to help enrich our businesses.
There are so many ways to market ones business and choosing the best options is so important. We joined the Chamber of Commerce not long after opening our business in 2009. By doing so, we had access to hundreds of business owners and many opportunities to promote ourselves to these owners as well as the community. We have seen continued growth and develop new relationships every month as a result of our continued involvement with the Chamber. The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce has excellent leadership, vision, and wants to help their members grow and prosper on many levels. I highly recommend the Chamber to any business who is looking for a great addition to their marketing plan.
The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce has demonstrated great dedication to Small Businesses in our community for many years. Being a part of this wonderful organization for 37 years had helped our family business to thrive with growth in our community.
Joining the Cherokee Chamber was one of the best decisions I made not only for my business but also personally. I was at first that chamber member that didn’t get involved and only went to a few events. I even considered cancelling my membership. The fabulous staff talked to me and explained get involved. So I did. I go to every event I can. I joined the Education Committee, Chairman’s Council and Leadership. I began to see the true value of being a Chamber Member and it was amazing. I continue to look for ways I can get involved with the Chamber. The Chamber is a valuable resource for any business. They have helped me grow my business, shown me what a great county and community we live & work in; and I have made lifelong friends. So whenever I have the opportunity to ask people if they have joined the Chamber, my first piece of advice – join and get involved.
