If you’re an entrepreneur, you’re likely doing it all – from operations and accounting to social media marketing. Even if you haven’t started your own business, maybe you wear many hats at the small business or non-profit organization where you work. It can be difficult to juggle all of the responsibilities and tasks that come along with being a leader in your organization. That’s where digital software and applications can assist you to streamline the areas of your business that you need help with most!

Many of these apps are used around the world in large corporations as well as one-man shops. No matter where you fall on that spectrum, we think these apps can help boost your productivity and streamline your workflow.

  • QuickBooks: QuickBooks is a household name at this point, with businesses of all sizes using their software to manage accounting. You can pay employees, file payroll taxes, and manage employee benefits and HR all in one place. QuickBooks offers multiple plans so the features can be customized to your organization’s needs. Streamline your accounting with next-day or same-day direct deposit, automatic payroll, geofenced clock-in/out feature, and other app integrations.
  • Square: You’ve likely seen a Square card reader at a farmer’s market booth, event registration table, or at your local coffee shop. They are one of the leaders in the point-of-sale system industry and a great option for small businesses and on-the-go users. According to NerdWallet, Square stands out with its transparent prices, diverse hardware options, impressive list of features, and no chargeback fees. The downside? It won’t work with your Windows device.
  • Asana: If your organization manages multiple projects at once, Asana can be a great tool to keep everything in line and everyone on the same page. Asana is a cloud-based platform, meaning you can keep up with tasks, deadlines, and progress from any device, anywhere. You can assign tasks to specific team members, set deadlines, create subtasks, leave comments, and send messages. These features are great for ensuring strong communication and transparency within your team!
  • Meta Business Suite: Your organization likely has a Facebook page in this day in age. If not, you might want to consider making sure your brand has a footprint on social media. Meta Business Suite is a social media management tool specifically integrated into Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp for Business. It offers a single inbox to track all comments and messages across platforms, content scheduler and calendar to stay on top of your posting and offers detailed analytics. You can also create content and ads right from within the platform and cross-post to both Facebook and Instagram at the same time. The best part? It’s free!
  • Constant Contact: Email marketing is a primary way that organizations reach out to new and existing customers. Constant Contact is one of the most used email marketing platforms on the market. Its user-friendly design and full feature offerings make it an excellent choice for any level of business.
