Gibbs Gardens Daffodil Festival has been nominated by a distinguished group of travel writers as one of the 19 Best Flower Festivals in the nation. The contest is sponsored by USA Today.
Gibbs Gardens Daffodil Festival, which begins March 1 and runs six weeks, is competing against 18 major garden festivals across the United States. The 10 venues receiving the most votes will be recognized by USA Today as the Best of the Best.
Spring begins at Gibbs Gardens as 20-plus million daffodil blooms adorn 50 acres of valleys, hillsides, and fields across its 376 acres. Gibbs Gardens offers more than 60 daffodil varieties for six weeks of blooms in shades of yellow, orange, white, peach, and deep gold. The huge number of daffodils is enhanced by intricate planting designs, vibrant color contrasts, easy walking paths, and dramatic mountain vistas.
