Business members receive a membership plaque to display identifying them as members of Cherokee County’s most active and progressive business organization. New members will also receive recognition through local media, CherokeeChamber.com, and during the first Good Morning Cherokee attended.

The Chamber organizes these ceremonies in order to promote new businesses, expanded or remodeled businesses, new business locations and new owners of existing businesses. Photos are featured in local media outlets, The ChamberLink weekly e-newsletter, the Chamber’s Facebook page and CherokeeChamber.com.
Your listing in this publication is a vital part of your membership package. It is THE tool for making business referrals. All Chamber member main contacts receive an updated edition annually. Directories are updated on a weekly basis as members join throughout the year.
Expanding Your Knowledge with Labs for Learning
Training Classes for various types and sizes of businesses, pertaining to business growth and development, are offered. Programs vary annually based upon suggestions by the Chamber membership.
Promote your business or organization’s special offers via the special features option in the Chamber online membership directory or market your events on the online Member Event Calendar. You may also include promotional materials in gift bags at certain Chamber events and promote your business or organization through door prize donations. If you want to notify the Chamber membership regarding who you are and what services you provide, mailing labels are available for a nominal fee. On select Fridays, the Chamber Staff wear Chamber member company shirts to help promote the membership. No cost to participate. Advance sign-up required..
Sponsorship opportunities, which are showcased in an annual Sponsorship Booklet, are available for a variety of Chamber events.
New Business Contacts
Chamber members make professional and personal connections by attending programs designed to maximize business exposure in a variety of formats. Monthly engagement events include: Business After Hours, Power Hour, Meet & Eat, and Good Morning Cherokee Breakfast.
When you volunteer for Chamber committees, you gain the opportunity to study community needs in-depth and develop creative solutions to the business community’s concerns. Chamber committees offer you a chance to help shape the future of Cherokee County!
Consumers look to the Chamber to recommend businesses. When they ask, we refer only our members.
As a member, you will be listed in our online membership directory at CherokeeChamber.com. Your listing will include company name, main contact, address, telephone, fax, email, website and can even include a map to your location. Additional enhancements – including graphics, a highlighted listing, and a “pop to the top” feature – can be added for an additional fee.

Drugs Don’t Work
The Drugs Don’t Work program can assist your business in establishing a drug free workplace. Companies meeting the ﬁve step criteria are eligible for a 7.5% Worker’s Compensation reduction.

It’s all about keeping local dollars local!
The ChamberLink e-newsletter keeps members posted on upcoming Chamber events and member involvement opportunities. This weekly publication also highlights ribbon cuttings and ground breakings, the Chamber’s online membership directory, and Chamber Programs – just to name a few. Local media also supports the Chamber through promotion of the organization‘s programs and services.
Existing Industry Services
Appreciation is shown annually to local manufacturing and distribution companies through the “Operation Thank You” gift distribution. A comprehensive Industrial Guide is available from the Chamber at a nominal cost. As an educated workforce is a must, connecting industry and education is a priority. Business disaster strategies for industrial areas of the county are vital while business disaster plans for industries are encouraged as well.
Regional Issues Awareness
This effort focuses on issues that affect not only Cherokee County but the entire region.
Chamber member companies with 1-10 employees receive a no cost membership in the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Federation. Also, the primary representative from each Chamber member company receives a subscription to GeorgiaTrend magazine.
